לרדת מטורבו לרכב רגיל זה לא פשוט. מצד שני, השליטה הרבה יותר הרמונית ברכבים שאינם גודשים. לא במקרה BMW אינם משתמשים במנועי טורבו בסדרות הבנזין שלהם. למעט אולי גרסה אחת או שתיים.
